4th Gold Trading Championship – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to Ming Tak Finance's 4th Gold Trading Championship. By participating in this event, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these terms.

Eligibility & Basic Requirements

  • Participants must be holders of a valid Live or Demo account with Ming Tak Finance.
  • This competition is open to residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region only: Participants must be permanent residents of the HKSAR or holders of a valid Hong Kong Identity Card, and must provide valid supporting documents for verification.
  • Each participant is allowed to enter with only one account. Each client may choose to register with either a Demo Account or a Live Account – not both.
  • Clients must register via the official Ming Tak website to participate in this competition.
  • During the competition period, all margin requirements, stop-out settings, and other trading conditions for participating accounts shall remain as per the account's original arrangements. No exemptions or adjustments will be granted due to participation in the competition.

Competition Period

  • Competition Period: From July 3, 2026, 06:01 (HK Time) to August 28, 2026, 04:59 (HK Time) – a total of 4 weeks.
  • Participating accounts may commence trading only when the competition begins.
  • After the competition ends, no new positions may be opened in any participating accounts.

Account Requirements & Fund Management

  • Live Account Participation: Minimum deposit of USD 1,000 is required. Withdrawals during the competition period will result in disqualification. No bonus offers apply.
  • Demo Account Participation: A default demo balance of USD 1,000 will be provided. Demo accounts are only eligible for the "Departure Gift Pack" and the "Skyline Grand Champion" prize.
  • Competition Account Management: Upon successful registration, a dedicated competition account will be issued. All trading activity must be conducted through this account.

Trading Requirements & Products

  • Trading Instrument: Spot Gold (XAUUSD)
  • All statistics are based on closed trades only.
  • Trades closed via "Close By" function and trades held for less than 120 seconds are excluded.
  • EA (Expert Advisor) trading is permitted.

Ranking & Scoring Criteria

  • Skyline Weekly Champion & Skyline Grand Champion: Ranked by Net Worth Growth Rate. Formula = [Ending Net Worth / (Starting Net Worth + All Deposits During the Period)] × 100%
  • Miles Weekly Champion: Ranked by weekly trading volume (lots).
  • Miles Grand Champion: Ranked by overall trading volume (lots) – 1st Place: HKD 8,888; 2nd–5th: HKD 2,888 each.
  • Tie-Breaking: In case of identical growth rates, the earlier registrant wins. In case of identical trading volume, the prize money will be split equally among the tied participants.

Prizes & Award Distribution

  • Skyline Weekly Champion: Round-trip Japan flights for two OR HKD 6,000 cash (1 winner per week, 4 winners total).
  • Skyline Grand Champion: Champion HKD 30,000 + Trophy; 1st Runner-Up HKD 20,000 + Trophy; 2nd Runner-Up HKD 10,000 + Trophy; 4th–8th: HKD 5,000 each.
  • Miles Weekly Champion: HKD 888 cash (1 winner per week, 4 winners total).
  • Miles Grand Champion: 1st Place HKD 8,888 cash; 2nd–5th HKD 2,888 cash each.
  • "Departure Gift Pack": Live Account – HKD 500 cash; Demo Account – HKD 100 Supermarket Voucher.
  • Prizes will be distributed to MingTak trading accounts (non-competition accounts) within 15 working days after the competition ends. Supermarket vouchers will be sent via WhatsApp.
  • To withdraw the prize money from the trading account, the winner must submit a written request to [email protected].

”Sky Weekly Champion” Airfare Prize Details

  • Designated Prize: The winner will receive a pair of round-trip economy class air tickets from Hong Kong to Japan (valued at approximately HKD 8,000).
  • Redemption Deadline: The winner must contact us to complete the ticket redemption procedures on or before December 31, 2026. Failure to do so will be deemed as a waiver of the prize.
  • Travel Deadline: The departure date of the redeemed tickets must be on or before June 30, 2027.
  • Price Difference Handling:
    • If the actual ticket price exceeds HKD 8,000, the winner shall pay the difference directly to the travel agency.
    • If the actual ticket price is lower than HKD 8,000, the difference will not be refunded.
  • Other Restrictions: The airfare prize is non-exchangeable for cash (except for the alternative option below), non-transferable, and non-resellable. Specific flight, date, and seat arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions of the travel agency and the airline.
  • Alternative Option: The winner may also choose to waive the airfare prize and instead receive a HKD 6,000 cash prize, which will be deposited directly into the winner’s Ming Tak Financial trading account.

Special Notes for Demo Accounts

  • Demo Accounts are only eligible for the "Departure Gift Pack" and the "Skyline Grand Champion" prize. They are not eligible for the Skyline Weekly Champion, Miles Weekly Champion, or Miles Grand Champion.

Fair Play & Violation Penalties

  • Acts such as churning, arbitrage hedging, and reverse trading across multiple accounts will result in disqualification.

Consent & Authorization

  • By participating in this competition, the client acknowledges that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, as well as the client agreement published on the Company's website.
  • Winners unconditionally agree to be interviewed, photographed, and recorded by Ming Tak Financial and its designated third parties. They permit the use of any resulting photographs, videos, audio recordings, and interview content (collectively, the "Works") in any media (including but not limited to the official website, social media platforms, advertisements, and promotional materials) for promotional and marketing purposes, without any compensation or further notice.
  • Winners explicitly agree that all intellectual property rights and usage rights of the "Works" and trading records belong to Ming Tak Financial, and automatically waive any right to object, claim, or litigate against such "Works."

Personal Data Protection

  • Personal data will be used solely for competition-related purposes and will be protected in accordance with applicable laws.

Disclaimer

  • Contracts for Difference (CFDs) are high-risk leveraged investments that may result in the loss of principal.

Final Decision-Making Authority

  • Ming Tak Finance reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the competition and to make all final decisions.

Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
